Ingrid and Scott's Tented Backyard Wedding in Chatham
Jul 6, 2017
On one of our first phone calls (before we even met in person), Ingrid said "I feel like we'd be friends!" I'm sure she had no idea at the time, but that simple statement totally made my day because that is exactly what I hope for with all of our couples, to have that level of trust and comfort that feels more like a friend is photographing you! And I remember getting in the car last fall after their engagement session, looking at Pat and saying, "Ingrid was right, we would totally be friends!" I thought I loved them then, and then, we got to meet their parents, their siblings, their extended family, their cutie little niece and nephew and their DOGS... and then we REALLY loved them!
Ingrid and Scott had a beautiful tented backyard wedding at Ingrid's family home in Chatham, MA. The day was so relaxing (a word you don't always get to use when describing a wedding day!), filled with huge smiles, hugs, friends, family and even time to relax on the deck before the ceremony!
Thank you guys so much for having me along for the ride and trusting me to capture this beautiful, beautiful day! Here are just a few of our favorite moments, enjoy!

We just need to take a time out for this little fuzz ball. I spent most of the day trying to figure out how I could get him in my car without anyone noticing!
If you know me, you now know why Ingrid and I would get along! Obsessed with this "Thug Wife" Tee!
I love this moment of Scott reviewing his vows before the ceremony!
This is Pat's handy work from the balcony!
